From the Field
South Dakota

Robert Baker. Despite thermometer readings as low as -25F, Robert sat in his Standmaster Jacket and Bibs until this great buck walked within bow range. Robert removed his Bibs for the field-dressing, and by the time this picture was taken, he looked warm as toast, despite everything else being coated in ice and snow.
Northeastern South Dakota, December 29, 2005.

Aaron Frank took this buck on 9-23-07 in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota. "Thanks for the King of the Mountain wool. It was quiet and warm and worked perfectly. Also thanks for the use of the pack. It worked great and is by far the most comfortable and well designed lumbar pack. Just the right size for hiking in the mountains. Just for the record the temps were in the low 30's to 40 pretty much the whole season. Just right for hunting. Take care and good luck on your Moose hunts."
